This Lithium battery based Energy Storage System (ESS) is a subsitute/addendum to conventional Diesel Generating Set. This can be charged with Grid power as well as Solar panels. It also has grid export feature that enables it to export excess power generated from solar panels to grid. This system can power load upto 30 kW. It can be connected to 30 kW of solar panels. The system has 30 kWH of battery bank.

As such, it can power entire load of the premises on solar (it will disconnect grid power automatically) as well as charge the battery bank. After sunset, in case there is  power failure, it can support the entire load. This power bank is scalable, which means, if you need, you can increase the backup capacity by adding more battery trays.

With this setup a user can run his premise for 24 hours without dependency on grid if his average load is 2000W as solar power will support the load during day hours (7 hrs) as well as charge the batteries and after sunset, the 30kWh battery will support him for 17 hours. This setup will also be able to support a load as high as 30kW.

This an be a substitute for Diesel Generator Set. It overcomes the biggest drawback of DG Set – very high fuel and maintenance cost which only increases with time  – on the contrary, this solution has zero running as well as maintenance cost. The 6600 lifecycles lithium cells ensures a long life of more than 15 years.

This can also be integrated with DG set wherein the primary power source will be solar and batteries. In case where there is no alternate power source available/sufficient – viz grid, solar, batteries the system will start DG set and provide power to premises. Once, other power source becomes available, the system will stop DG and fall back on the cheapest power source. This combination ensures guaranteed power supply no matter how long the grid is unavailable or what the weather conditions are. Note: DG-ESS sync is not part of standard product.
